Little Snitch - a popular utility that allows you to block traffic in different applications. To avoid the probable transmission of data from Trojans, spyware processes and other abusive programs, the user can establish a set of rules that opens to traffic only proven applications. Utility is a must when you first run unknown programs. It is also often used by amateur warez-blocking software to alert when an application wants to transmit information about themselves on a home server.
